Bright Spot Friday!

We are bringing back Bright Spot Friday! This week we want to highlight Allie, who PR-ed her squat snatch this week. As a nurse and a mom, Allie leads a busy life, but has been as consistent as ever in her training lately and has been killing it! Congrats on your new PR, Allie!

Strength WOD

A1) Bulgarian Split Squats-  6 each leg
A2) Partner Glute ham raise – 8 Reps
4 Rounds

WOD

20 Goblet Squats
10 Burpees
20 KB Snatch (alternate arms, each rep counts as one)
10 min AMRAP
Fitness: 35/26
RX: 53/35
RX+: 53/35
Coaching Tip- If the KB Snatch is causing any pain when the bell lands on your forearm then switch to a KB push press.  You should NOT have bruises on your forearm the next day. The Strength portion today is a great addition to the back squat cycle. Go heavy and hard on the split squats.  The workout today is meant for you to keep moving.  It is not a sprint or a long slow workout.  Find a good pace and stick with it.
