We have ended our clean and jerk strength cycle. This week starts a new cycle. In order to get ready for the summer we will be focusing on bicep curls and six packs. For the next 8 weeks we will hit a variety of curls and crunches….just kidding! We will get you beach ready with exercises that really work!
Our next strength cycle will focus on Deadlifts and Overhead Squats. Deadlifts tend to tax the nervous system and can be hard to recover from so our cycle for that will end in about 4 weeks. If you deadlift heavy on Monday it takes a solid three days to fully recover. So most of the heavy deadlift days will come later in the week. Our cycle for the OHS will go closer to 8 weeks. With the OHS we will focus more on mobility and position before strength! Honestly nothing will get you a six pack faster then deadlifts and OHS (along with good whole foods!).
