Sad that the Open is over? Afraid that you’re not going to see your friends from the morning class again until the Memorial Day Murph? We have just the solution! We will be hosting a Ladies Night on Friday, April 17th and a Guys Night on Friday, April 24th. This will be a great opportunity to meet that person you see everyday in class and never get a chance to talk to, finally meet that name you read on Wodify but don’t wake up early enough to see their face, or simply make new friends to help this awesome community grow! Oh, and we’ll be working out too. Both events will be held at 6:30PM (no regularly scheduled class those two Fridays). Come in, work out, and then stay a while. CFH will provide a WOD designed just for the Ladies/Guys, followed by food and drinks (who doesn’t love free food and drinks?). There will even be a raffle (who doesn’t love winning free stuff?)! If you aren’t sold yet, just ask someone who attended our last Ladies/Guys Night and they will be sure to tell you what a great time it is!
This is our third week of the front squat and push jerk cycle, continue to push the load, but also think about form, technique and mobility during these lifts. We will add in Front Box Squats today. There is a great video below to demo this movement. The weight should be very manageable, we will increase the load on this exercise throughout the next couple weeks.
