A message from the CFH Tri team: During a 5 x 3 squat day, do you long a for 3mi run? Prefer walking the line between drowning/swimming vs. a Monday morning Fran?  Ache for 25mi bike ride instead of 150 wallballs for time?

I don’t. But just in case this describes you, a community of CFH athletes are discussing an approach to train for a sprint or Olympic distance triathlon in late summer/early fall.  Starting from the bottom, we’re talking about a 500-700m swim, 12-15mi bike and a 5K run for sprint distance.

There’s interest from first timers and those with a few events under their belts. Even if you simply want to join for a swim, bike or run – welcome to the party.  I, for one, am selfishly thrilled to not ride solo through Glen Burnie in spandex.

Interested? Please email me at phillip.wiegand@gmail.comand, if on facebook, please indicate how to find you (e.g. Ed Siu = Mr.CutieGigglesLOL1994). There will also be a sign up sheet with Geo starting next week.

Thanks,

CFH Tri Team
