A look into the training and the life of an elite CrossFit athlete-Dan Baily visits CrossFit HQ -Part 2
An Athletes guide to Inflammation- It is important to know what is “good” to eat, but for the most part we all know fruit and vegetables are good and Doritos are bad. What is more important is to know what foods cause you to have the biggest set back. Set back = feeling tired, slow and lazy. Foods that cause inflammation are the reason your body feels like this. Last time I checked no one is setting out to feel lethargic.
I heard a quote a long time ago about food. I realize things stem much deeper than a simple decision, but breaking down a thought to the simplest form helps to block out all distractions. “Every time you eat you are faced with a decision. You either have a good choice to make or a bad choice to make. Minimize the bad choices” -Unknown
There was no intent to write this on the biggest COOKOUT day of the year, it just kinda happened. Today you will be faced with many choices and to be perfectly honest I will make a few bad ones myself. I will try to make more good than bad and recover fast by getting things back inline tomorrow. Eat, drink and enjoy your holiday!
