Attention CFH Parents!

 Sunday August 28th at 9am we will be hosting a special FREE class:

Toddler and Me Yoga presented by Yoga Tree studio! Class will be held at CrossFit Federal Hill.

The class will be free for CFH members and kids AND friends of CFH members can also come for free- adult friends who have kids, or even if you’re not a parent, bring a friend or family member’s toddler. Toddler and Me yoga is a great way to have fun and be active as a family!

Nutrition Tip Wednesday!

We all know- it’s hot out. This week’s it’s not about food, but water. Check it out on the Nutrition Blog HERE.

Today is more of a Strength Day with a little rowing. Each round should be done in about 4-5 minutes.  Focus on going heavy for the swings and the farmers carry.

Strength WOD

Every minute for 10 minutes
3 Deadlifts at 70% of 1 RM
20 Second low plank hold
**Keep the load at 70 or below and focus on speed. We will re-test our 3 rep deadlift next week.**
Then
200 M Farmers Carry (as heavy as possible, DBs or KBs)
20 Cal Row
20 Russian Swings
Rest 2 minutes
3 Rounds
Score = Slowest Round
**If you are using the DBs or KBs outside please do not drop them after your 200M Carry.**
