Every time you come in the gym you should be signing in.  Demand training or just rowing, make sure you check into a class.

 

Construction on the wall in the back gym has begun and will be ongoing until early next week during most classes. There will be slightly less room over the next couple of days to do extra work in the back gym. We ask that you do your best over the next few days to avoid the areas where work is being done. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and appreciate your understanding!

Unbound Muscle Therapy at CFH tomorrow!

Tomorrow night James Barbosa from Unbound Muscle Therapy will be visiting CFH, giving out free 15 minute massages. James is an Athletes Muscle Therapist and works with other athletes and affiliates in the area. James’ focus is in helping athletes increase strength, range of motion, reduce pain and the risk of injury. If you are in the gym on Thursday swing by and get yourself worked on!

Nutrition Tip Wednesday!

The holidays are fast approaching, along with all of the temptations and treats of the holidays! This week, we talk about staying focused on clean eating this holiday season. Head over to the Nutrition blog to check it out.

Mobility WOD

Couch Stretch (1 minute each leg)

1 Hanging Power Clean
4 Alternating Reverse Lunges
4 Shoulder to Overhead
200 M Run
20 min AMRAP
**Add 1 hanging power clean each round.**
Score total rounds and reps
Coaching Tip: There is no prescribed weight today, go as heavy as you can.  You should be able to hit the round of 4 hanging power cleans, 4 lunges and 4 shoulder to overhead unbroken.  The plan here is to work on barbell cycling.  Choose a load you can manage under fatigue.  If you struggle with shoulder to overhead then base the load off that. It is OK if the cleans and lunges feel light.
