Our split jerk cycle was a big success. We saw some major PR’s and breakthroughs. It is a hard, technical lift that people struggle with. We saw improvements in both form and weight added to the barbell.
The PRs totaled over Five Hundred and Thirty Five Pounds. Crazy to think that as a gym that we are over 500lbs stronger in just 7 weeks.

Stick to the plan and amazing things will happen. Consistency, work ethic and a positive attitude is all you need. Nice work, everyone!

Our past two strength cycles- the squat snatch and the split jerk- have been technical lifts. This cycle, we bring it back to the legs with the front squat. The front squat builds a strong lower body and midline which will benefit all other areas of your fitness. Today, we will find a new 1 rep max to kick off the cycle.
