What to Expect at CrossFit Federal Hill
We have been receiving a few emails and phone calls about what is up with this gym that has been saying it will open soon, but is still not open. Website, Facebook, Twitter, some park workouts, but still no gym?
I’ll keep it quick but here is the deal, back in August, Brian and I started our search to open a CrossFit gym. I owned a CrossFit gym in San Diego that I recently sold so I knew what I was looking for. The dilemma was finding the right space in Federal Hill. After tracking down the owner of a sweet warehouse on Key Hwy we spent the next two months meeting, debating and negotiating our lease. Construction, like usual, went longer then expected so here we are mid November still trying to build hype while the crew works to get this space ready for us.
As we get ready to open, we want to let everyone know what to expect at CrossFit Federal Hill. Fun, challenging and bad-ass workouts for all levels, a community tighter than Mormons in Utah, and a place to call your second home. We will have 4,000 square feet of awesomeness to throw weights around, swing on bars like you were six again and throw large balls at small targets. At CFH we will also focus on the community and giving back. I know, sounds soooo TRENDY right? Well, give us a few months and we will come through with programs for at risk youth, charity events, pot lucks and throwdowns that will all support our local community.
