Top 10 Most Overrated Health Foods.  If you have looked at the nutrition tab on our website, read our beginners packet, or heard of paleo these will be of no surprise to you.  Either way it is always good to think about what the words “Health Food” even means?   We are bombard with advertisements that claim Honey Bunches of Oats, fat free key lime pie, and power salads with yogurt covered raisins, craisens and candied walnuts are healthy.  Wait, but not you, you realize this is all one big ass joke! It is all about selling more shit in a box.  Apples are healthy, but bite size round balls, that are coco flavored, covered with sugar and served over cows milk are not.

I realize we have members at CFH on all different levels of the nutrition spectrum.  From starting their weight loss journey to increasing their pre workout protein intake to perform at a higher level.  But the point of this rant would be to listen to your body; actually feel if you are in a good, bad or neutral place.  Are you bloated,  get stomach aches, wake up multiple times throughout the night? Do you get tired midday, are you dragging through workouts? Then adjust.  If you feel great, but are not sure if you could feel better then experiment with pre and post workout meals.

You do not have to eat like a saint and make your cheat day two bananas, but like most things in life you get what you put into it.  Enjoy social settings and indulge once a year (just kidding).  Find a balance, do not make it an obsession, and remember nutrition is part of the program.  All of the coaches are always here to lend a hand with any questions you might have!
