We have had a few questions and comments about nutrition so we are bringing in an expert,  Dawn Fletcher.  She is a good friend who I use to work with in San Diego.   She will be on the east coast in few weeks and is coming to CFH to put on a Nutrition 101 course!

This Nutrition 101 course will give you the basic information you need to understand what CrossFit and CrossFit Federal hill describe as healthy eating. This is an class for people who are looking to improve their eating habits and further understand how food can impact their training, performance and overall health. We will go over practical strategies that will help you to be more successful in reaching your fitness and performance goals. The class is aimed at people new or inexperienced with a paleo-based diet. It will help all of those who are looking to improve their eating habits.
 
Dawn Fletcher, Owner of FletcherFitness.com and MentalityWOD.com is a CrossFit Certified Coach and CrossFit Nutrition Certified, she has been helping CrossFitters improve their nutrition since she adopted a paleo-based/real food way of eating in 2010.

When: Wednesday August 7th, from 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm

Where: CrossFit Federal Hill

Cost: $40 per person or $70 per couple

We want to make this course hands on and be sure to have enough space so we are limiting it to 20 people.  When you stop in for class just let the coach know you want to reserve a spot!

We are starting a new strength cycle.  We will be working on Front Squats and Push press with oly lifts sprinkled in the mix.  Today we will find your 1 RM for FS and PP.

2) If you want to go RX only count reps that hit the target and squats below parallel.  No rep yourself!
3) If you want to feel your legs on Tuesday then spend extra time stretching and rolling after class.
