Every once in a while I post something that really has nothing to do with CrossFit.  The goal is to give your mind a break from squat cleans, calluses on your hands, and those damn toes to bar.  Maybe it will provide insight or cause a change, but mostly it is a way to show we are not all about barbells and kettle bells, we have substance.

Paleo Challenge details are coming out tomorrow…

An email from an anonymous member of CFH…

“Why CFH is better than Merritt…

1.  We have awesome trainers and they are their to coach you, not to try and sleep with you.
2.  A squat isn’t considered a squat unless you go below parallel.
3.  We actually work out our lower body
4.  When asked how much you lift you can reply with something other than your max bench.
5. We have no mirrors so there is no reason to wear your make up to the gym.
6. You never have to wait for a “machine”. There is always a bar available.
7. Our girls can beat up your girls.
8. Short shorts are not discriminated against whether your a boy or girl.
9. Stretching is actually part of the workout and not just something you do when your sore.
10. The calluses on your hands are a great conversation starter.
11.  We aren’t afraid to sweat during a workout.
12.  It’s ok if u want to take your shirt off during a workout
13.  Our box is better than yours… And we have more of them
14.  The only jerks we have at the gym are overhead
15.  You aren’t allowed to work out with your cellphone
16.  You don’t have to worry about old naked men/women walking around the locker room
17. Taylor swift doesn’t get played when your about to get your lift on
18.  Conversations don’t take place “in between sets”.  We actually go to the gym to workout.
19. Your in and out in an hour.
20.  Wtf do you need tv’s for in a gym?
21. Running takes place outside, not on a treadmill.
22. Throwing up may happen after a workout. Not from drinking to much at the pool bar.
23.  Air conditioning is over rated. No pain, no gain!”
