Another huge congrats to all the competitors that gave it their all this weekend. Competing is intimidating, it gives you that uneasy feeling in your stomach. It takes your breath away and leaves you on the floor covered in chalk and sweat. The day is crowded, long and the judge always F’s something up. We worry about looking bad on stage or not performing our best. But in the end it provides you with a sense of accomplishment, you stepped outside your comfort zone and grew mentally and physically. That is something to be proud of.
We spent the last 8 weeks working on front squats, cleans and jerks. This was over the holiday, so of you took a few days off to eat sugar cookies, drink beer and visit family, but hopefully we still see improvement! Use what you have learned and the strength you have gained to find a new PR today!

Power Clean and Jerk (115/75)
Burpee
Time Cap 15 min
*This workout should be a sprint. A weight that you can do 10 touch and go reps with, not something you drop at the top of each rep. Go light and go fast. 15 min is the cap, but your goal should be closer to 10 min*
