A friendly reminder of what RX and RX+ mean.  To “RX” a workout means to complete the workout across all modalities (movements) as prescribed. On our blog and Wodify we usually only list weights or box heights in our RX/ RX+ prescriptions, however it is implied that for RX and RX+ all other movements in the workout be completed without the assistance of any bands, mats (in the case of HSPU), etc. or other modifications that scale or change movement or the volume of reps as written. We program this way to set a challenging benchmark. Ultimately, the way you complete workouts will always be your choice, and we want all of our athletes to find a place that is challenging, yet do-able. But, the reason we have standards is to hold them and keep people accountable.  So if you are entering your score or telling the coach your score remember two things:  All movements must be completed to be RX, it is not just about the weight.  Second, RX is meant to be challenging.  Modifying, scaling or adjusting the movements to fit your fitness level is ok!
