305 Unit Apartment Building- Going in our Parking Lot!
SOON OUR PARKING WILL BE GONE!
The article above outlines a development project that will take place in the lot next to the gym (1100 Key Hwy). Our property line goes up to the sidewalk that we run down. We lease the parking lot in addition to the gym so all you fit people can park just steps away. Well, unfortunately those days will be gone soon. That lot is worth a ton more money then what we pay for fit people to park. We have no idea when construction will start or when we will be kicked out. For now we will keep paying for it and using it, until someone tells us not to.
Our plan is to come up with alternative options so you still have easy accesses to the gym. We will spend the spring fixing up the old gas station (we have to come up with a better name than that). Getting the old cars moved out, putting up signs parking lanes. We will be in touch with Digital Harbor High School and possibly make a passage way or opening through the fence above the gym to get down. There will also be a parking garage going in with the construction next door so hopefully we can figure out a way to use that for CFH also.
We will make it a priority to make it best situation we possibly can, but just so you know parking might be a challenge during this growing phase. We hope you understand!
