- Oh perfect, today’s my rest day!
We all have the potential to crush doubles! DU’s are a difficult skill that require coordination, endurance, and practice to perfect. This two hour seminar will be packed with useful tools that will give athletes a better understanding of mechanics of the rope, training techniques to improve rope skills, and an in depth break down of what it takes to be good at doubles. If you have never done a double-under before or you can do 5-10 in a row but become completely exhausted, this is for you.
Topics covered:
– Rope fit: length, size and weight of the jump rope
– Ideal Posture and Mechanics: Movement with & without the rope
– Coordination: Timing the jump with the rope turn
– Efficiency on the rope: Minimizing energy expenditure while jumping
