Attention to any and all CFH members looking to get stronger and get smarter about their training — we are excited to announce that registration is now open for Coach JP’s 3rd Annual Strength Class!
Classes will be Monday/Wednesday at 6:30PM and will begin on Monday May 22nd.
We will be using the lifts that make up the CrossFit Total –back squat, deadlift and overhead press– and focus on building strength for 10 weeks culminating in a group lift off where we will test our progress together.
The cost is $235 for 10 weeks of individual programming and small group coaching.
So what do you get for your hard earned cash?
- (2) classes per week for 10 weeks
- (1) 90-minute class consisting of lecture and hitting your programming
- (1) 60-minute class focusing on movement and hitting your programming
- Personalized strength-based programming that is tailored to your needs and goals, and compliments CFH’s in-house programming.
- Learn the process behind the programming and how to take control of your own fitness.
- Learn how to set clear and effective goals for both your strength training and long term fitness.
- Learn to execute the “Big 3” that make up the CF Total properly. Our goal is to become exceptional at the everyday things. There is more to these lifts than you might think.
- Learn the mental side of getting stronger; How to truly go heavy and when to dial things back.
- Access to me (Coach John P) via email or in the gym anytime. My goal is to work with each athlete to help them find the process and program that works best for them.
- The class includes discussion and practical work on a whole bunch of other topics including:
- Eating to get stronger
- The awesome power of a “training max”
- Recovery process
- Proper use of equipment
- Mobility work
- Accessory exercises for the Big 3 (so many to choose from!)
- Discussion of popular programs and their methods
- Preparing for competitions and one rep days
- Anything else that we find interesting…
So who is this class for?
- The Committed — If you sign up you’re committing 10 weeks to getting stronger.
- Anyone who wants to get stronger — Doesn’t matter your level. There is a plan for everyone and everyone can make some serious gains.
- Those with the long term in mind — This isn’t a get-strong-quick program. Those don’t exist. This class is based around a sustainable, long term plan to get strong.
