IA Athletes, Kelly Hartnett here, and I am ready to bring you some weekly yoga this summer! If we have never officially met before, Hi! π This is your invitation to join me on your yoga mat on Thursday evenings from July 7-August 28 at 6:30pm.
This power yoga class will be geared for athletes to flow through the asana movements. Asanas, yoga postures, are performed to improve flexibility, strength, and balance and are very beneficial for any athlete. Aside from this giving us another form of physical movement, this class will also focus on overall mental well-being and allow us to slow down from the busy week.
Mindfulness during yoga can be more challenging than some of the physical postures! We will connect breath to movement and flow through the postures while giving our bodies some well-deserved R&R from CrossFit class. Zero experience required!
If youβre a fan of hot yoga this is for youβ¦ because we all know how it feels in July and August at the gym!
A little about me: I was trained by Core Power Yoga in 2020 and am 200-hour certified. You might have caught me teaching some free classes in the park or on zoom in the height of the pandemic. Since then, I am teaching at CPY Fed Hill on Monday nights. And now I am super excited to offer this vinyasa style class for my favorite IA community!
This class will be found in Zen Planner and included in all IA Memberships. Please reserve ahead of time. We will cap these classes at 10 people and we will cancel class if it has 2 or less members reserved.
