Hey Team!
We have been hinting at some big news coming your way and it is finally time to share! We are formally merging CrossFit Federal Hill and CrossFit Harbor East under the name Industry Athletics. This means a few things for our members. Most importantly, dual memberships will be eliminated – everyone will have complete access to both facilities and any specialty classes. In addition to access, you will see a merge to our social presence, a facelift to the website, and more community inspired events.
The official launch will be on Saturday, June 23rd and we are kicking it off with a CrossFit + Canvas Party to celebrate! You might recognize the concept of CrossFit meeting art from NoBull Project’s shoe Art Work Collection with artist Kent Youngstrom featuring athletes like Brooke Wells and Sam Dancer. We are excited to bring that same experience to Baltimore for our community.
Instead of making custom NoBull Trainers (as cool as that would be!), you will have the opportunity to create a canvas of your own doing some of your favorite CrossFit movements. You can check out the video here to get an idea of what it will look like.
The event will be held at Sandlot on June 23rd from 10 AM to 2 PM. Tickets can be purchased here. Your ticket will include your experience working with artist Kent creating your CrossFit canvas and your first drink at Sandlot. In addition to your individual pieces of art, we will have larger canvases that we will paint and create together as a community to hang up in each gym celebrating Industry Athletics. When you’re not painting, there will be an area at Sandlot for everyone to hang out, play volleyball or bocce ball as well.
