What could be better than dressing up like an avocado and throwin’ down with 4 of your friends at the gym?! This year, 12 teams of 4 competed in CrossFit Federal Hill’s annual Halloween Throwdown! We were so excited to bring back this awesome community event after 2 years off. Team costumes ranged from the big bad wolf and little pigs, care bears, and ninjas to power puff girls, men in black and vampire slayers. We had team weight lifting events where the team that lifted the most combined weight over 4 different lifts took first and endurance events where teams had to complete burpees over the box, 400m runs, plate ground to over heads and team pull ups. We know some CrossFitters are out there already planning their costumes for next year.
